Shiloh is located within the  Merritt Island, Florida, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, and the Canaveral National Seashore. It is on the border of Volusia County and Brevard County.

This site is currently over 16 miles away from any other launch complexes in the Kennedy Space Center. It is less than 4 miles away from residents of the Scottsmoor and Oak Hill areas.
